Medical Terminology Online Course

InterActive Medical Terminology Online

Welcome to Interactive Medical Terminology, a cost-effective course specially designed for those with little or no experience of the language of medicine. The self-teaching course is designed around twenty-one units of work that can be used repeatedly to consolidate learning and back up your formal studies in medical terminology and anatomy. Every unit contains small interactive exercises and simple explanations with minimal text to read. At the moment the units contain over eight-hundred interactive exercises supported by text, anatomical drawings and animations.

You can try the free exercises and sections on the digestive system to see whether you like the style of learning before purchasing the full course. Payment gives you access to all units via the internet for one year and they are available using British or American English as some medical terms have different spelling. After one year the course can be renewed at no further cost by individual students.

The course is suitable for anyone with an urgent need to understand and use the language of medicine including: premedical students, nurses, medical secretaries, medical writers and those engaged in medical-legal professions.
