This unit contains sets of flashcards to enable students to memorise the names of medical specialties and to expand abbreviations associated with disease, pharmacy and medical qualifications. The unit also contains a set of flashcards on medical eponyms relating to disease. Each disease is named after the person who first identified and/or published information about it for example Alzheimer's disease named after Alois Alzheimer.
